Parris Island Marine Graduations
We support our Marines and rent our homes regularly to Parris Island families over coming to Beaufort to see their loved ones graduate. If your group is visiting Beaufort for a Parris Island Graduation, we would love to give you some more information on our homes! They are perfect for groups coming to the area to support their children, grandchildren, friends & relatives during this special time in their lives.
We realize that it is a great sacrifice these young men and women make for our country, so we do believe in giving discounts on rental rates for Marine Families.
Typically, marine families will come in on Tuesday or Wednesdays and check out on Saturdays or Sundays. Since Beaufort is a vacation destination, we also have many families who attend graduation and stay for the week. Please email or call to ask about our special rates for Parris Island Graduations!

Comments from recent guests coming for Parris Island Graduations
In November of 2010 my son graduated from Marine Recruit training in Parris Island. My family attended. We have always stayed in hotels and this time we found the Christmus Properties on line and rented the Fripp Island home. If we return we will surely contact the Christmus regarding rental of one of their properties. The home was beautiful. The location was very relaxing. The Christmus family was very nice to deal with and willing to whatever was needed to assist us. I would recommend other Marine Families to the Fripp Island property, in the words of one of my other children "It was the best vacation ever."

"We stayed at a wonderful house in Beaufort. There are more sleeping accommodations than the web site said, we found out they had an extra single bed and a double bed that was kind of like a futon. The house is beautiful, the kitchen is big, plenty of room to sleep and it was close to Parris Island. 11 minutes away. We traveled back and forth several times over the three and half days we were there and it was quite easy and quick. We were within walking distance to a nice coffee shop and we only had to drive 2 miles to get to a food lion (continue across the draw bridge and go a couple of miles and Food Lion and Publix are on your left). Walk or drive down to the waterfront by the draw bridge and get some ice cream and swing on the swings overlooking the water. The owner will give you a discount for Parris Island families. I checked the price of hotels nearby and the price for this house if you have a few people staying is way cheaper than hotels and so much fun. 5 star recommendation from this Proud Marine Dad."

"I just wanted to send a short note to thank you and your family for providing us with the absolute perfect place to welcome our recruit. The house is everything that we expected and more, at a great price. I hope to use it as a place for my sons and I to get together for years to come.
Thanks Again"

“Our daughter graduated from MCRD Parris Island on January 8, 2010. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in your beautiful home. The weather was less than perfect and extremely cold while we were there and I must say the house was beautifully heated throughout! That’s surprising for such an old historic home! We had a group of 13 people and the house was perfect for a group this large. The location was an easy drive to the base and nearby restaurants and shops.
We would like to thank the Christmus Family for opening up their beautiful home to us and making our stay in Beaufort a memorable one. We highly recommend this home for Marine families traveling to Parris Island for Family Day and Graduation. The Christmus’ were very accommodating and communication was great. Sincerely,
The Lockhart Family – Riverview, Florida”

“We must begin this note by thanking you for your hospitality. Our experiences here on Fripp Island are truly unforgettable, but it would not have been possible without your home and the staff at this wonderful location. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed, this was a true blessing for all of us. I could not think of a better place to receive our new Marine than into your wonderful home. Thanks to you blessing us with this home we were able to live under one roof as a family, which was truly priceless. There will never be a fonder memory in our minds than that of these past couple of days as we shared the joy and fellowship of being with our family and bringing our Marine back home. We hope that God will bless you as you have done with us and with so many USMC families. Once more we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
